Q: My computer is behind a router, how do I host an MP game?
A: You need to forward the ports that CF uses to your computer. CF uses ports UDP 34567 and TCP 34567.

How exactly you set this up depends on what brand of router you have, if you need help, this site has some pretty helpful walkthroughs for specific router hardware and specific games. Obviously CF is not there, but if you use the guide for Quake4 and substitue the CF port numbers you'll get the same thing.

If you've done everything correctly, when you host an MP game and you're in the lobby, the IP address in the top left will no longer show your local IP (192.188.x.x LAN ONLY), but instead will show your external IP address (for the computer you're on now, its: 3.149.24.143).
