My home town. I've been meaning to do this for ages but still find urban conversions hard. Some walls are shorter than on the map + some other wierd things. You may get stuck if you go into private areas. No more here if you all tell me its rubbish.
got stuck twice on the same fence XD it's not bad but you're right it needs some improvements. Don't lower the roads without any curbs, you can distinguish a bit more between private and open land, convert the walls like a powerline with one (imaginary) post per dot. You can extend the line to area for fences/walls to make 2D barriers a little bit wider and use one of the standard textures for asphalt they look the same in each direction :)
